My toddler grabbed the mushroom bell tops first, and the bright metal chime really surprised me—she kept hitting them with the acorn stick for a full ten minutes. The xylophone notes rolling off are a nice touch that ties the whole forest theme together.
The acorn stick is light enough for my toddler to grip confidently, and the metal chime on the mushroom bell rings out surprisingly clear. We’ve had it a week and the xylophone notes are still in tune, just wish the stick had a little storage spot.
The acorn stick is chunky enough for little hands, and the metal xylophone notes have a satisfying ring that isn't too harsh. Only gripe is the mushroom bell tops are a bit quiet compared to the keys, but my kid still goes for them every time.
