The wood is solid and smooth, no splinters at all which is a relief. We've already got them living in the dollhouse, and the girl fits perfectly in the little bedroom set. Honestly, this is the kind of toy that will last for years.

My three-year-old has already staged a full family dinner on the second floor of her dollhouse with these four little figures. They’re solid wood, so they’ve survived being dropped down the stairs a few times already, and the smaller kids’ hands can grip them easily.

The wood grain is visible and smooth, which makes these figures feel much nicer than the plasticky ones we’ve had before. My kids immediately started making up stories with the mum and dad, and the toddler-sized girl is their favorite.
