Assembly took about twenty minutes with the included wrench, and the kids immediately started drawing on the removable chalkboard panel. The wood feels solid and smooth, no splinters at all, and the hidden storage underneath actually keeps crayons off the floor for once.
The chalkboard panel comes off so easily that my daughter flips it over herself to grab her crayons from the stash below. The wood feels solid and smooth, no rough edges, and it’s held up to daily play without a wobble.
The hidden compartment is such a clever feature—my kids love stashing their crayons and small toys in there. The plywood feels really solid and sturdy for the price. It’s a great little set for their dollhouse.
