An exotic wooden cutting board and little blue knife. A pineapple in 3 parts, a watermelon, a coconut, a banana, a passionfruit and a dragon fruit in 2 parts. Attached with velcro for easy cutting. Netting bag for tidying away included.
My three-year-old chops the pineapple into its velcro pieces over and over, and the little blue knife fits her hand perfectly. The coconut and dragon fruit are her favorites to split apart, and everything has stayed intact through some serious play sessions.
My three-year-old has chopped this fruit set at least fifty times and the velcro still snaps back clean every time. The dragon fruit and pineapple pieces are chunky enough for small hands to grip, and the wooden board has taken some serious toddler pounding without a scratch.
The velcro strips hold up way better than I expected after weeks of my toddler hacking at them with the knife. My kid loves splitting the pineapple into three pieces and snapping it back together, and the coconut is a nice challenge with its two halves.
