Hanging this above the porch door instantly made the whole corner feel like a beach trip. The handdrawn crabs and buckets are charmingly detailed, and the plywood cutouts are light enough that even a bit of breeze gives them a gentle sway.

The plywood pieces have a nice weight to them, so the garland hangs straight instead of twisting around. I’ve got it draped across our porch railing and those handdrawn seashells catch the afternoon light just right.

The little crabs and buckets are so crisp and cheerful—I keep catching myself smiling at them every time I walk past the window. The plywood feels sturdy enough to pull out again next summer, which is exactly what I plan to do.
